June 1, 2024 must wait until OFASS 2025 applications are available.

Our Principal & Director
It is with great pleasure that this welcome is extended to you as we enjoy the 2023 Oakland Fine Arts Summer School (OFASS) program that is sponsored by the collaboration between Oakland Unified School District and Oakland Parks and Recreation Youth Development (OPRYD).
For a few of you, this will be your 20th year of following the excitement that takes place each summer as children from the Oakland area come together to experience visual and performing arts in a manner that is missing in our public schools. Some of you have even been OFASS students. For others, this will be your first introduction to OFASS. We want you to know that OFASS has history in history and that all involved do this work because we love children.
You will be introduced to some of OFASS’ talented visual and performing artists as you visit this site. They take pride in sharing their exceptional expertise as they educate your children and guide them through arts exploration.
Our goal is to provide an uplifting visual and performing arts program that will enrich the lives of our students. We strive to make each summer the best ever as we welcome them with love and a smile.
